On Sunday morning, I volunteered with the Youngcare Foundation, which hosted a 5km Budgie Bolt to raise funds for better care for young people with disabilities. I helped set up tables at the start, and then worked as a walk marshal, guiding participants along the correct course. After the race, I helped pack down the tents and handed out water to those who had finished

Volunteered this Sunday morning for the Young care foundation. The young care foundation hosted a 5km budgie bolt in attempts to raise money for greater care for the disabled youth. Bella and I helped set up the tables, and then we were walk marshals making sure people stuck to the right course. After this we then packed up the tents and gave water to people who had finished the race. Overall, it was a really fun day and it felt great to give back to the community for such an important cause.

This morning, Kings College students participated in the Youngcare Budgy Bolt, a 5 km run/walk around New Farm Park to support Youngcare. Youngcare designs and builds Specialist Disability Accommodation for individuals with high physical support needs. It was a wonderful morning spent supporting an amazing charity, and we were fortunate to enjoy some warm sunshine.
