King’s College was founded in 1912 by the Methodist Church to provide a residence for men studying at The University of Queensland. The College was initially located
at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane and moved to new buildings in St Lucia in 1955. King’s became co-residential in 2020. As a Uniting Church College, King’s College now
provides accommodation for more than 350 resident Collegians and support for 100 Associate Members studying at The University of Queensland and other tertiary
