Sunday was our first come and try MRP (Modified Rugby Program) day. MRP is a program in which people with cognitive disabilities and physical disabilities come together to be apart of a community as we teach them skill such as kicking, throwing and catching a ball. But most importantly how to socialise and talk to like minded peers. I am a Coach for Wests Rugby club and we train on Friday nights and Games are Saturday Mornings.

Volunteering (self) : (1 Session)
On Wednesday morning the king’s senior leadership team attended a two hour bush care session lead by the regular volunteer jack. It was a great opportunity for us to see all of the amazing work that has been done by previous groups and the aims that Jack has for the future. The main activities that we did were weeding large areas of ground for aesthetic and functional purposes. I’m looking forward to brining my flat to our session in the near future.

King's bushcare : (2 Hours)
Bush Care - we did weeding it was very rewarding to be apart of this activity. It was great to be able to help out the Kings community and participate in a service act to give back. Immersing myself within the bush care and learning about the weeds that had been transferred from the floods was interesting.

King's bushcare : (1 Hour)
The SLT for 2025 did bushcare as apart of P Week. It was lead by Jack which was a good opportunity to meet him and learn about the local plants and trees. We split up across the area and did weeding.
