It was so refreshing to see that there was so little rubbish on the beaches or in the waters of the Whitsundays. I did pick up this Australia shaped piece of plastic though in beautiful Butterfly Bay. I’m in a shirt as I didn’t have a stinger suit. Every little action counts!

Start of our Whitsundays boating trip. I removed numerous Glycine vines from the charter company garden. An employee was very happy with what I did. He mentioned that invasive vines are a huge problem on the islands 😢

Sunday April 22 I finished off removing the Glycine vine along the fence line of the Biobasin. Removed as much as I could by the roots, cut what remained.

I attended 3 she week activities, to connect with each other.

This morning, our flat had bushcare with Jack. We helped remove weeds and clean up the bush.

This morning our flat had Bushcare with Jack. It was interesting to learn about the differrent weeds surrounding the bush in the areas by the river.

Today we went down to the bush behind kings with pickaxes. We used our pickaxes to take out the weeds because this is what Jack told us to do with our pickaxes. Jack was a great guy.

Attended the sex ed talks and bushcare

I attended multiple talks on sexual education. The talks discussed a lot of important topics which can benefit everyone in the future. It was a very beneficial wellbeing initiative and taught me a lot.

Bushcare! We helped Jack clean up the riverbank area chop down a tree :)

Helped out with plucking weeds from the local greenery around kings, assisting a local Brisbane City Council volunteer member. I also attended 4 of the sex ed talks discussing safe sexual practices and and learning about pleasure in different people.
