This Tuesday night, we began our first club meeting of the year with an inspiring start! ✨ We had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Anna Blackman, Co-Founder & Director of Talent Insight Solutions, who shared her journey and the story behind founding the company. With a wealth of experience in academia and corporate environments, Talent Insight Solutions specialises in helping businesses of all sizes get the best from their people — empowering informed HR decisions through globally recognised tools like Extended DISC, FinxS, and SEIP. The result? Engaged teams, higher productivity, and healthier business outcomes. A huge thank you to Dr. Anna Blackman for joining us and sharing her insights — we truly appreciate it! 🙏 We then moved into our general meeting topics, recited the 4-Way Test, and wrapped up with a few laughs (and lessons) - courtesy of our Rotaract Sergeant’s fines session. #rotaract #rotaractclub #rotaractbrisbaneinternational #rcbi #serviceaboveself #clubmeeting #communityinaction #indooroopilly #leadership #humanresources #talentinsightsolutions

rCBI had the pleasure of being invited to celebrate NAIDOC Week with the Centre Education Programme (Youth+ Kingston). 🖤💛❤️ On Friday, the 1st of August, one of our rCBI members, Niki, joined the Rotary Club of Brisbane International to engage with the incredible students and teachers at ‘The Centre Education’ (Youth+ Kingston)!✨ It was a heartwarming afternoon of connection, culture, and community. From meaningful conversations to shared activities, it was a privilege to be part of the celebrations and support such an important event.🫶 We’re grateful to the Youth+ team and the Rotary Club of Brisbane International for the warm welcome and the chance to be involved in such a wonderful afternoon!!

Once a month at the Rotary and Rotaract Club of Brisbane International - we feed up to 100 people with a home cooked meal and have conversations with the less fortunate on the last Wednesday of every month at the above location. This was completed on 30 July 2025.

At the District 9620 Interact Conference on Sunday 20 July 2025, we talked to inspired Interact members about the world of Rotaract and the different Rotaract club's we have in District 9620. We connected with them for a couple of hours and had a blast. We were proud to represent the Rotaract Club of Brisbane International at this district event in connecting with students, teachers and district leaders.

Earlier this week, we proudly delivered 100 MOM Packs to the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), each carefully packed with essential sanitary and hygiene items to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families across South East Queensland. This project holds deep meaning for us as a club. At its core, community service is about recognising where we can support others with empathy and action – even in small, practical ways. Each pack represents our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals in ways that are thoughtful, meaningful, and grounded in care. The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health is a regional not-for-profit Community Controlled Health Service that delivers health, wellbeing, and social support services across the region in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community health organisations. Their work is grounded in respect, cultural strength, and discipline – values we deeply admire and are proud to support. This initiative embodies the true spirit of "Service Above Self" – dedicating our time, effort, and care to respond meaningfully to the needs of our broader community. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to IUIH’s incredible mission. A special thank you to Past President and Rotaract Advisor, Nim Prasad, from the Rotary Club of Brisbane International, for your ongoing guidance and assisting us with this meaningful project. Swipe to see some behind-the-scenes moments from our packing session, powered by teamwork and heart. 🙌
